Shipping & returns
Last updated: September 14, 2026
How your piece gets to you, how long that takes, and what happens if it turns up and isn't what the listing promised. Shipping and returns used to be two pages — they're one now, because they're really one story.
Shipping & delivery
Every piece is checked by our team before it's dispatched, so there's a verification step between a seller posting an item and it reaching your door. That step is why REVIVE takes a day or two longer than a direct courier — and why what arrives matches what you paid for.
Where we deliver
We deliver anywhere in Nigeria. Lagos is where most of our sellers and our verification team are based, so Lagos orders move fastest. We don't ship internationally yet.
How long it takes
The clock starts when your payment is confirmed, not when you add an item to checkout. Timelines below are working days and exclude public holidays.
Inside that window there are three stages: the seller hands the piece over (up to 2 working days), our team verifies it against the listing (usually same day), and the courier delivers. You'll see each stage update on your order.
What delivery costs
Delivery is charged per order, and the exact fee is shown on the checkout page before you pay. There are no separate handling, verification or protection fees for buyers — the price on the listing plus that delivery fee is what you pay.
Tracking your order
Open Orders in your dashboard to see where a piece is. That's the same information we have, and it updates before we could tell you anything new over email. If a stage hasn't moved in more than two working days, tell us and we'll chase the courier.
Missed deliveries and wrong addresses
Couriers make up to two delivery attempts and will call the number on your order first. Please make sure the phone number and address you enter at checkout are ones you can actually be reached on.
- If both attempts fail, the parcel comes back to us and we'll contact you to arrange redelivery.
- Redelivery after two failed attempts costs the delivery fee again.
- If the address was entered incorrectly, tell us before the item is dispatched and we'll change it at no cost. After dispatch, a redirect isn't always possible.
If it never arrives
If your order passes its delivery window by more than three working days, message us with your order number. We'll trace it with the courier and, if it can't be found, refund you in full.
If you're the seller
- Hand your piece over within 2 working days of the sale. Orders that aren't dispatched in 5 working days are cancelled and the buyer is refunded.
- Send exactly what you listed, in the condition you described, with every flaw you disclosed. Verification checks against your own photos and description.
- Pack it so it survives the trip — a poly mailer at minimum, and a box for anything with structure, beading or heels.
- Your payout is released 48 hours after the buyer accepts delivery. See Payment in your dashboard.
Returns & refunds
REVIVE is a resale marketplace, so most pieces are one of one. Returns exist to protect you from a listing that wasn't honest — not as a way to try things on at home. That distinction is what keeps sellers willing to list here.
Your 48-hour window
You have 48 hours from delivery to check your piece and open a return. During those 48 hours the seller has not been paid. Once the window closes without a return, the sale is final and the seller is paid.
What qualifies
We'll take it back
- It isn't the item in the listing
- Damage, staining or repairs the seller didn't disclose
- The condition grade is clearly wrong
- Measurements differ from the ones listed
- It's counterfeit, or the brand is misstated
- It arrived damaged in transit
We can't
- You changed your mind
- It doesn't suit you, but the listed measurements were accurate
- Wear, marks or alterations that happened after delivery
- Flaws the seller photographed and described
- You opened the return claim after 48 hours of receipt
- Underwear, swimwear and pierced jewellery, for hygiene reasons
Requesting a return
Returns are rare, so there's no return button on your orders. Each one is handled individually by our team, by email or through the contact page.
- Photograph the problem Before anything else, take clear photos showing the issue next to the listing photos. This is what the decision is based on.
- Contact us within 48 hours Email hello@getreviveonline.com with your order number, the reason and your photos, or send a message from the contact page and we'll reply asking for the photos. Your order number is required either way.
- We review it Our team responds within 24 business hours. We compare your photos against the listing and the verification record from before dispatch.
- Send the piece back If the return is approved, we'll send return instructions. Post it within 3 working days, unworn, with any tags still attached.
- Get refunded Once the piece is back and checked, your refund is issued.
Who pays return postage
- We do — when the listing was wrong: undisclosed damage, wrong item, wrong measurements, counterfeit, or transit damage. You're refunded the item price and the delivery fee you paid, and return postage is on us.
- You do — in the rare cases we accept a return outside those reasons as a goodwill exception. The original delivery fee isn't refunded.
Getting refunded
Refunds go back to the account you paid from — we can't redirect them elsewhere. Once the returned piece has been received and checked, expect the money within 3–5 working days, depending on your bank.
You can also choose store credit instead, which lands in your account immediately and never expires.
When we disagree
If a return is declined and you think that's wrong, reply to our email and ask for a review. A second person on the team looks at it, and their decision is final. Throughout a dispute the seller's payout is held back until it's resolved.
If you're the seller
- You'll be notified as soon as a return is opened, with the buyer's reason and photos.
- Your payout is held until the return is resolved. Nothing is taken back from your account after the fact.
- If the return is upheld, the piece comes back to you and the sale is reversed. You can relist it once the description is corrected.
- A pattern of upheld returns for inaccurate listings can lead to listings being removed or a seller account being closed. Accurate photos and honest measurements are the whole job.
Still not sure?
Send us the order reference and we'll tell you exactly where you stand.
